Full Job Description:-

Together with the Business Data Services team, this position will provide support for our iHub service. iHub is an authorized provision point (APP) that distributes standard foundational data to applications and reporting services downstream. Datasets are provided by iHub for the company’s regulatory submissions (eONE), LIBOR Transition, Asset/Liability Management, Enterprise Customer Complaints, CDD, Credit Risk & Operating Committee Reporting, and numerous other crucial functions.

Data integration, data readiness, and data consulting are provided by the iHub team. It is a group of small businesses that specialize in commercial lending and collaborate with various lending systems to standardize and support the data.  A number of systems of record and systems of origin ingested within iHub will be primarily the responsibility of these positions. These positions will be responsible for managing projects and day-to-day BAU activities, as well as aspects of these systems.

This offshore resource is an IC role. Its activity includes data analysis to ensure that key application deliverables are completed consistently and thoroughly in accordance with iHub Policy requirements. The work area is the Commercial Banking space, where consumers’ downstream deliverables will be realized.

Analyze, assess, and test data controls and data systems to ensure quality, data governance, and risk compliance standards are met. Identify data quality metrics and execute data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality. Adhere to data governance standards and procedures. Develop recommendations for optimal approaches to resolving data quality issues. Develop and implement plans for assessing the quality of new data sources. Develop and lead programs, initiatives, and activities for data quality, governance, and metadata activities.

  • Ensure that these issues are analyzed and the mapping is updated by analyzing the existing test case inventory.
  • Mentor staff members with less experience and lead project teams.
  • Utilize domain expertise and data, business, or process analysis to inform and support solution design. Consult with clients to assess the current state of data and metadata quality within the area of assigned responsibility.
  • Participate in cross-functional groups to develop companywide data governance strategies. Contribute to communication routines with stakeholders, business partners, and experienced leaders.
  • Analyze data issues/root cause/business clarification, such as mapping or data provider issues or data dependency issue. Drive planning and coordination on low-to-medium-sized remediation efforts. Define the problem and offer the onshore teams a suggested course of action.

Qualifications based on education and experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in Financial Data Mapping and Modeling Competent in Finance – MBA(Finance)/CA Competent in Technology – B.Tech/B.E/MCA Skills and Experience Desired:
  • 8+ years of experience in Regulatory, Risk, Commercial, and Financial Data Handling and Reporting
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in data research and analysis Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Ability to clearly articulate complex business data concepts
  • Ability to work and influence effectively in a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with members of all levels of the team Knowledge and understanding of the challenges and approaches to data governance:

metadata, data quality, and data stewardship Ability to manipulate data from non-normalized or disparate sources Clear comprehension of DWH principles, Dimensional Data, and Data Models/Schemas Self-organizing, Ownership, and Accountability for Delivery

  • Knowledge of financial systems or commercial lending systems
  • Knowledge of how to handle complex data sets
  • Expertise in Oracle Financial Services Data Foundation (FSDF) implementation and knowledge
  • Expert in SQL, including SQL for Oracle, Teradata, or any other database.
  • Knowledge of and experience with JIRA or any other defect management tool Knowledge of and experience with Agile Project Management Tools MS Office suite Exposure to Data Visualization Tools such as Tableau/Power BI is a plus Soft Skills and Traits:
