The Product Management position gives you the chance to collaborate with Wayfair’s senior leaders and have an impact on important business decisions. What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead a team of engineers in building the platform’s capabilities, services, and API by providing product leadership; Create technology-enabled solutions to support Wayfair’s supply chain strategy by developing deep domain expertise and working closely with operational stakeholders. Collaborate with adjacent product,
  • engineering, and data teams that are responsible for various aspects of supply chain replenishment optimization to maximize the impact of the technology your team supports.
  • Transform data into information and insights with clear scenario analysis, business impact, and risks that aid the company in making strategic decisions and successfully implementing strategies.
  • Produce sustainable capabilities that can be reused with minimal effort and provide comprehensive documentation and training for
  • Work closely with senior Wayfair stakeholders to ensure that Wayfair’s vision aligns with broader company objectives. Develop and maintain a technology roadmap and regularly update key partners and stakeholders. Control resourcing on your team and supporting technology teams to ensure that products and enhancements are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Design instincts and willingness to engage in hands-on fast prototyping to help engineers translate priorities into functional, intuitive workflows Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated experience with hypothesis-driven learning and turning data into actionable insights Superior communication skills with demonstrated ability to navigate a complex landscape
  • Experience in platform engineering, data visualization, reporting, or analytics preferred; 12+ years of product management experience in an agile development environment, ideally with exposure to a relevant product area Experience building large scale reliable, performant cloud systems as individual contributor (Hands-on Developer in Intermediate SQL proficiency is required; a bachelor’s degree in engineering with a focus on supply chain is preferred; an MBA would be advantageous. About the Team:

Items move effortlessly from the supplier to the warehouse, where they are delivered to the customer, thanks to the Supply Chain Technology Platform team. The Platform will give suppliers, warehouse teams, and data and analytics teams complete visibility into the shipped packages as they move through ocean, land, and air transportation channels and various facilities. These facilities consolidate ordered items from multiple suppliers, break bulk packages destined for multiple warehouses, collect orders from multiple suppliers destined for a given warehouse, and so on. both for returns and procurement. This team is tasked with abstracting the complexity of handling various document exchange standards like EDI, EDIFACT, and custom document formats in order to facilitate simple and seamless integration with various players in the Supply Chain domain. It also empowers suppliers, Wayfair procurement, and Wayfair customers with detailed whereabouts of orders in flight from origin to final destination, allowing them to make appropriate business decisions like timely procurements of quantity and in demand items, predict lead time for a positive customer experience, and the data & analytics team
