Within the Walgreens RWE Clinical Trials division, the Clinical Trial Project Manager will be in charge of overseeing and managing clinical trials with biopharmaceutical companies (Sponsor), including participating in pre-sales, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that the clinical trial satisfies contractual requirements in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), policies, and practices. The job of the Clinical Preliminary Undertaking Supervisory crew is centered around project conveyance, efficiency, and quality to guarantee solid client and patient fulfillment for clinical preliminaries.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Serve as the point of contact for the Sponsor and other functional team members for the assigned clinical trial project Participate in the preparations for the bid defense. Lead and coordinate project activities and leads the completion of deliverables in accordance with the overall program strategy.
• Collaborates closely with other core team leaders within the Clinical Trials business. Demonstrates the ability to proactively identify solutions to improve existing business processes.
• Understands and maintains compliance with internal and external privacy and legal regulations. Manage the project finances in accordance with the customer contract and the budget. Lead activities across numerous functions to meet the objectives of a given program, including the scope, budget, and schedule. Establish and maintain project documentation and procedures.
• Work closely with RWE Clinical Trials’ Director of Finance to identify changes in scope and manage the change control process as needed. Walgreens and WBA:

• Basic requirements A bachelor’s degree and at least two years of clinical research and project management experience OR a high school diploma or equivalent and at least five years of clinical research and project management experience
• A bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a field closely related to it and at least two years of clinical research and project management experience Experience working with others to deliver results that meet deadlines, metrics, and budgets
• Knowledge of how to use RWE in clinical trials Knowledge of EDC systems and technology-enabled solutions for clinical trials (EMR/Health Record Experience, Hybrid trials).
• Experience using a results-oriented approach to delivery Knowledge of project finances, including experience managing, contractual obligations, and implications Experience organizing resources needed to complete tasks, set objectives, and provide clear direction to other team members
• At least one year of direct leadership, indirect leadership, and/or cross functional team leadership Willing to travel up to/at least 15% of the time for business purposes (within state and outside of state)
