The Global Customer Research and Solution team is in charge of handling customer and merchant complaints in a fair, consistent, and timely manner. It is the responsibility of our Customer Care Investigation Specialists to thoroughly investigate every aspect of a complaint, speaking with customers to fully comprehend the issue. You’ll look into all of our systems and processes, gather evidence, and work with other teams to figure out what should happen. After that, you’ll share your findings in writing and over the phone.

The position will offer a wide range of responsibilities, and successful candidates will receive comprehensive guidance and support to ensure that they are well-versed in handling consumer, commercial, and merchant complaints in the Blue Box. Responsibilities:

  • Impartially reviewing all relevant evidence to address all aspects of a complaint and arriving at the fairest outcome
  • Utilizing a variety of systems and working with other departments and business partners to obtain complete understanding of the circumstances surrounding the complaint in order to reach an appropriate decision
  • Articulating the outcome of the investigation to the complainant clearly, fair, and not misleading
  • Working closely with Compliance, GCO, and business partners to obtain a resolution on complaints
  • Providing detailed fact-based feedback following our documented feedback process to prevent future complaints

Expertise and Experience:

  • Prior experience handling complaints is preferred, Previous experience dealing with customers is essential
  • Strong ability to manage multiple workloads in a target-oriented environment, Positive attitude and desire to be a true team player, Resilience and the desire to thrive under pressure
