Minimum requirements:
- a bachelor’s degree or work experience that is comparable
- five years of knowledge of data structures and algorithms and software development.
- three years of software product testing, maintenance, or launch experience, and one year of software design and architecture experience.
- three years’ experience developing tools for developers, such as compilers, automated releases, code design and testing, and test automation frameworks.
Preferable credentials include:
- Knowledge of test automation and the development of mobile apps
- Knowledge of programming practices, major features and capabilities, and system management tools for programming languages like Java and Python
- understanding of the main steps and phases of a software test cycle.
- ability to troubleshoot, prioritize, and resolve system or program code issues (such as operational, process, software, or firmware)
- ability to validate a system’s correctness, functionality, reliability, and other characteristics before defining the software architecture, components, modules, interfaces, and data necessary to meet specified requirements.
