Land ‘N’ Sea Distributing, Inc. is a full service, wholesale only distributor, serving the Marine and RV industries for over 40 years. Shipping responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<\/p>\n

Accurate picking, packing and shipment of various sized parts to support quick turnaround of parts ordered.
\nFill orders by removing the correct parts from the shelf, identifying part numbers and proper quantity.
\nDetermine method of shipment and packs accordingly.
\nCount, weigh, measure or examine packaging and contents of items for conformance to company specifications.
\nOperate forklift or uses hand truck to move, convey or hoist equipment and parts throughout the warehouse and work areas.
\nComply with all quality standards and policies.
\nMaintain a clean and safe work area – this includes cleaning \/ maintaining equipment and work areas, and performing safety inspections of areas.<\/p>\n

Receiving responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<\/p>\n

Receives and unpacks merchandise and supplies and verifies accuracy of deliveries.
\nPerforms general labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting and moving materials.
\nConfirms proper location of merchandise.
\nEnsures production area organization and cleanliness.
\nStock shelves by placing material in appropriate locations.
\nOperate forklift or uses hand truck to move, convey or hoist equipment and parts throughout the warehouse and work areas.
\nComply with all quality standards and policies
\nMaintain a clean and safe work area – this includes cleaning \/ maintaining equipment and work areas, and performing safety inspections of areas.<\/p>\n

EDUCATION AND\/OR EXPERIENCE:<\/p>\n

Knowledge typically obtained with a high school or equivalent diploma.
\nMust have dependable attendance and be a team player.
\nPrior forklift certification or willing to become forklift certified.
\nBasic computer skills helpful.
\nPrior warehouse experience a plus!<\/p>\n
