\nThe Engineering Manager plays a critical role in leading project, process, and plant engineering teams within the Verdigris Complex. Their primary focus is on ensuring safe and reliable equipment operation while adhering to fiscal budgets. They oversee a collaborative team that upholds compliance, standards, and asset integrity programs. You will report to the\u00a0 General Manager and work with a team of Engineers including Chemical Process Engineers, Mechanical Reliability Engineers, an Electrical Engineer, Drafter and Documentation.<\/p>\n

Compliance: Ensure adherence to corporate and facility EHS policies, following up on action items from investigations and audits.
\nEHS Initiatives: Support existing EHS initiatives and propose new ones.
\nSafety Performance: Promote incident reduction through engagement and accountability.
\nTeam Coordination: Manage engineering staff to achieve departmental goals, including training, performance management, and reporting.
\nTalent Development: Develop a competent technical team and mentor personnel for supervisory and management succession roles.
\nWorkforce Planning: Assist in workforce planning and recruitment.
\nBudget Management: Administer the annual department budget and participate in facility budgeting.
\nCapital Projects: Oversee the site\u2019s capital budget process, including project identification, prioritization, scope development, approval, and reporting.
\nEngineering Execution: Build engineering work for capital projects, ensuring compliance with specifications and codes.
\nPlant Support: Provide technical expertise to support plant operations, monitor energy efficiency, and propose improvements.
\nRecord-Keeping: Ensure accurate reporting and record-keeping, supporting the Management of Change process.
\nProcess Hazard Analyses: Participate in Process Hazard Analyses and routine plant maintenance.<\/p>\n

You Have:<\/p>\n

Bachelor\u2019s Degree: A degree in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Process Engineering.
\nExperience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a PSM standard-covered plant, in the petrochemical, refining, or related industry.
\nTechnical and Supervisory Skills: Demonstrated expertise in technical aspects, supervisory roles, and project management.
\nRegulatory Knowledge: Proficiency in applicable codes and regulations.<\/p>\n
