Responsibilities are moderately complex requiring more developed proficiency in various accounting techniques. Professional accounting position that receives owner inquiries and reviews and responds to owner courteously, timely, and accurately.\u00a0 Responsible for accounting processes regarding owner revenue distribution issues.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Duties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n

This position will be responsible for assisting with revenue owner relations, 1099\u2019s, outside operated check input, interest calculations, legal requests, and reconciliation activities at Continental Resources, Inc.<\/p>\n

Manage Revenue Distribution email account regarding owner inquiries with revenue related questions and respond courteously, timely, and accurately.\u00a0 Respond to owner phone calls and to inquires sent via mail.<\/p>\n

Manage Revenue voucher returned emails and returned revenue checks.<\/p>\n

Maintain voided check ledger.\u00a0 Void stale dated checks and other checks as needed.<\/p>\n

Assist with owner 1099 questions.\u00a0 Print and verify 1099\u2019s upon request.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Prepare owner interest calculations due late royalty payments.<\/p>\n

Assist with legal requests regarding owner payments.<\/p>\n

Process manual journal entries to owners payable accounts.<\/p>\n

Assist in processing OSO Oil and Gas Purchaser payments accurately and by specified closing deadlines.<\/p>\n

Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university<\/p>\n

Experience with MS Excel<\/p>\n

An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test<\/p>\n

Preferred Qualifications<\/p>\n

Prior revenue recognition experience<\/p>\n

Oil and gas accounting experience<\/p>\n

Working knowledge of SAP<\/p>\n

Proficiency in MS Word<\/p>\n
