We have an exciting opportunity in our Aerial Work Platforms business, part of our Terex family of brands. The Strategy Program Manager has responsibility for coordinating efforts related to Genie\u2019s business excellence assessments. The person in this role will enable the organization to achieve performance excellence through the improvement and deployment of our business assessment strategy.<\/p>\n

This is a one-of-a-kind role within Genie and Terex as we deploy and mature our business operating system
\nThis role is ideal for someone who is passionate about learning, building and sustaining something new, and understands that even the most mature processes are only effective with capable, empowered, and engaged people
\nThis role will teach, train, and empower stakeholders at all levels of the organization on the concepts of process maturity, continuous improvement and quality<\/p>\n

Responsibilities:<\/p>\n

Manage our business excellence assessment\u00a0program, aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction
\nExecute business assessments, drive strategic alignment, and develop program strategy
\nWork with executive and global leaders to execute program needs and empower positive change
\nDevelop and implement communication plans to support program initiatives
\nCreate and deliver internal train-the-trainer workshops as education and deployment of our business operating system
\nIdentify, track and manage program risks and create associated action plans
\nMaintain relationships to ensure alignment across functions with Genie\u2019s long-term strategic plan
\nTravel domestically and internationally to key Terex and Genie sites to effectively collaborate and empower cross-functional teams in pursuit of common goals; up to 40-50%\u00a0travel during certain times of the year
\nActively promote and enable Terex diversity, inclusion, and equity (DEI) goals & initiatives<\/p>\n

Required Qualifications:<\/p>\n

Bachelor\u2019s degree required (Business preferred) or 7+ years professional work experience
\nMinimum 4-5 years\u00a0work experience (internships and co-op experience included)<\/p>\n

Preferred Qualifications:<\/p>\n

Minimum of 3 years total experience in project management or consulting
\nExcellent communication, PowerPoint, and presentation skills
\nExperience with program management and execution
\nExperience leading business process improvements in cross-functional teams
\nDemonstrated ability to influence areas not under direct control to achieve goals and effectively communicate opportunities for improvement
\nStructured problem-solving approach and evidence-based action planning
\nExperience in an international business environment\u00a0& ability to interact successfully in diverse cultures
\nStrong collaboration skills and ability to motivate and inspire teams
\nDemonstrated ability in critical thinking, influence, negotiation, problem solving, and strategic thinking<\/p>\n
