The Assistant Plant Manager assists the Marine Operations Manager in directing and managing the operations for our sand offloading and processing facilities . The role is a great opportunity for the successful candidate to gain operational management experience in an urban market.<\/p>\n

Position Responsibilities:<\/p>\n

Assist plant manager in oversight of extraction, processing,\u00a0storage\u00a0and shipping of aggregates.
\nDaily responsibility for miner safety and MSHA\/OSHA compliance
\nAssist in overseeing and directing operational personnel in their daily tasks.
\nEnsure environmental compliance including quarterly and annual reporting.
\nAssisting in managing of maintenance schedule including the designing and planning of repair projects.
\nSpare part inventory management and ordering.
\nMonitor product quality and make necessary adjustments to ensure QA\/QC compliance.
\nPerform daily and monthly production\/inventory planning and reporting.
\nAttend and\/or lead safety meetings and Crew trainings.
\nContinually drive best-in-class safety performance.
\nAssisting in tracking monthly and annual financial budgets\/targets.
\nInterface with the Sales department, customers and other 3rd\u00a0parties as\u00a0required
\nEnsure company policies and safety procedures are\u00a0followed at all times.<\/p>\n

Position Requirements:<\/p>\n

Bachelor\u2019s degree, ideally in an engineering discipline; or relevant work experience
\n1- 5 years of aggregates, or related\u00a0work\u00a0experience\u00a0
\nComputer savvy, specifically Excel\u00a0
\nAnalytical, data focused and comfortable with financial\u00a0metrics
\nHighly organized and strong attention to detail
\nExcellent communication and time management skills
\nEqually as comfortable out in the field as behind a desk
\nPractically minded with a desire for continuously making improvements
\nAble to troubleshoot breakdowns and think through multiple design pathways for\u00a0solutions<\/p>\n
