MMM Remote Jobs Customer Support Jobs<\/p>\n

The Sales Manager is responsible for providing leadership to sales representatives and managing the sales function . The Sales Manager will also assist in the development and execution of a strategic marketing plan for long-term growth. This will include contributing to the development of pricing strategy for the market area and overseeing customer sales, budgeting, forecasting, and producing regular reports of progress.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities
\nMaintain continuous contact with operations ensuring understanding of material availability and product needs
\nManage major accounts\/contracts and seek out, negotiate, and bring to completion contractual relationships
\nDevelop yearly sales budgets based on market intelligence acquired through customer interaction, Department of Transportation spending, and other market informational tools
\nEffectively plan and help implement pricing strategy and ensure communication with customers and key stakeholders
\nAnalyzes business reports to improve key performance indicators related to forecasted sales and production needs
\nManage and enter sales orders
\nMaintain strong relationships with customers including hosting customer events throughout the year
\nSupervise team, conduct performance appraisals, train and develop subordinates, process promotions, salary increases, terminations, and disciplinary actions
\nWork effectively with district personnel regarding daily sales decisions, new accounts, and accounts receivable
\nBuilds and maintains relationships with key departments and Company affiliates to ensure cooperation and teamwork
\nEnsure support of and participation in Martin Marietta’s safety culture
\nRequirements
\nEducation and Experience
\nBachelor\u2019s degree in business, Sales\/Marketing, Communications or related field or equivalent experience required
\nMinimum of 5 years sales experience in the aggregates industry
\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities
\nProven sales, negotiation, and customer service skills; demonstrated capacity to develop rational pricing strategies and sales forecasting
\nStrong interpersonal communication skills
\nProficient in MS applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM systems
\nIn-depth working knowledge of Sandler Sales Training
\nAbility to travel overnight and on weekends, as needed
\nAbility to attend evening business and customer entertainment events<\/p>\n
