About the Role:\u00a0<\/p>\n

The HR Generalist role at the Ogden location provides support for approximately 700 hourly, temporary, and administrative employees, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance and employee satisfaction throughout the plant.\u00a0 You\u2019ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:\u00a0<\/p>\n

Develop and execute training programs from management team members and hourly employees that drive improved performance and results\u00a0
\nAssist in the recruiting for hourly and administrative employees\u00a0
\nDevelop performance management and improvement systems\u00a0
\nEmployee New Hire Orientation and development\u00a0
\nManage an employee reward system for employees\u00a0
\nWork with HR Manager on employee relations issues for the facility\u00a0
\nAssist in the design and management of programs and policies that support the orderly operation of the facilities: work rules, plant-wide job bid system, accommodation requests, light duty work, and attendance programs\u00a0
\nEnsure compliance with governmental regulations to include FMLA, ADA, FLSA, AAP, and other regulation that impact the operation of the facilities\u00a0
\nCoordinate employee activities that drive positive employee relations\u00a0
\nOther duties as assigned\u00a0<\/p>\n

Important Details:<\/p>\n

Supports approximately 700(+) employees in the plant. This is a full-time on-site role supporting plant human resources needs predominantly on 1st shift with schedule flexing between all shifts occasionally required.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Qualifications\/Education\/Experience\/Skills\u00a0<\/p>\n

Education: Bachelor\u2019s degree in Human Resources or business-related field\u00a0\u00a0
\nMinimum of 3-5 years of experience of HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing environment preferred\u00a0
\nSpanish speaking a plus but not required\u00a0
\nStrong knowledge of and experience in HR Information Systems such as Workday\u00a0
\nStrong communication skills at all levels of management\u00a0
\nStrong leadership capabilities and demonstrated ability to set effective priorities.\u00a0<\/p>\n
