This person must ensure adherence to compliance and regulatory restrictions. US English mastery, strong business acumen, storytelling and presentation skills, agility, high energy, and a collaborative approach are all essential to ensure success in delivering quality, brand-appropriate verbal and visual consistency and content relevance.<\/p>\n

What we\u2019re looking for:<\/p>\n

Bachelor\u2019s degree required, preferably in English, journalism, communications or related field.
\nExternal or in-house agency experience required.
\nHealthcare, life sciences and\/or biopharma research and writing experience are nice to have.
\nMinimum of five years of professional-level writing experience required.
\nPortfolio \/ writing samples demonstrating UK English language mastery required.
\nAbility to quickly research competitive content approaches to suggest content approach.
\nAbility to search our existing content (or collaborate with MarComm team) to see if items can be quickly repurposed as new content.
\nSolid SEO\/SEM knowledge
\nUS English language mastery, demonstrated through a strong portfolio of copywriting and editorial
\nTechnical\/Scientific background a strong plus
\nDemonstrated proficiency and expertise in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
\nAbility to work independently with general supervision.
\nNavigates business challenges effectively, collaborates at all levels of the organization including Director and ELT levels.
\nStrong presentation skills
\nBiopharma, life science, and healthcare knowledge
\nUnderstanding of writing applications in traditional and emerging channels; applies expertise to solve challenges and connect story to customer.
\nAbility to maintain a consistent voice and audience focus in writing.<\/p>\n

Write creative, effective copy according to project specifications and\/or creative brief.
\nMaintain single narrative voice, implementing consistency throughout content \u2013 balancing supplier needs with company standards.
\nResearch clients, their competitors and the target audience to support creative strategy and inform the execution.
\nProvide writing support for aligned client group(s), as well as supporting projects from other clients as demand and scheduling requires.
\nProduce original, relevant, clear and credible copy and be accountable for the final development of creative assets that engage and inform customer and deliver a clear call to action.
\nImplement SEO\/SEM enhancement in all web\/digital content.
\nEnsure accuracy, attention to detail and that the project overall meets or exceeds the writing objectives.
\nEnsure messaging brand guidelines and directives are embraced and adhered to in all executions.
\nAdhere to regulatory and compliance regulations.
\nExecute writing requests with accuracy, producing zero errors in work (all client edits are implemented correctly, spell check was run, facts were confirmed)
\nRespond to all requests and communications in a timely and thorough manner.
\nWork to improve the team\u2019s overall performance and embrace a collaborative approach.
\nSupport peers by reviewing work to ensure zero errors in work per above.
\nEdit and proofread material as demand and scheduling requires.
