Graphic Packaging Support Member Jobs<\/p>\n

Job Purpose<\/p>\n

To ensure Production Machinery is maintained & repaired to a high standard to enable maximum production speeds with minimum interruptions and breakdowns.
\nTo ensure Maintenance & Service records are maintained
\nTo devise, fabricate, and install, improvements to Production Machines
\nWorking a shift pattern of 8 hours shifts, earlies, lates and nights.<\/p>\n

Specific Responsibilities<\/p>\n

Carry out planned maintenance on plant & equipment to a high standard
\nRespond to breakdowns on Production machines
\nInstall and relocate production equipment
\nSpecify & order spare parts
\nComplete maintenance records
\nComplete all paperwork required to place orders and book in parts
\nRead Mechanical Drawings
\nCarry out Mechanical Fault finding
\nCarry out Pneumatic\/hydraulic Fault Finding
\nCarry out basic Electrical Fault Finding
\nRecord work carried out on a daily Time Sheet
\nLiaise with Contractors
\nLiaise with suppliers
\nLiaise with Engineering Companies
\nLiaise with other departments
\nHealth & Safety. Responsible for self and others
\nAssist with Stock Takes
\nEnsure a good working relationship with all Departments
\nWork overtime when required.<\/p>\n

Skills\/Qualifications<\/p>\n

Recognised Mechanical qualification (e.g. NVQ\/City & Guilds\/BTEC HNC)
\nPC Literate with knowledge of Microsoft software
\nExperience working in a high speed, high pressure production environment
\nExperience within the Printing \/ Carton Manufacturing Industry desirable
\nExperience working on Heidelberg\/ Roland Sheet Fed Printing Presses desirable
\nExperience working on Bobst Cut & Crease Machines and Folder Gluers desirable<\/p>\n

Interpersonal skills<\/p>\n

Multi-skilled
\nHighly responsible and conscientious
\nWork well under pressure
\nGood communicator
\nReliable and flexible with strong work ethic.
\nAble to effectively prioritise and adapt to variable workload.
\nPunctual, presentable and with good attendance.
\nWill be working in very fast paced environment so you must be experienced in dealing with pressure and be highly organised with an ability to multi-task and manage ones own time.
\nPro-active and can do attitude required.
