Our Quarry Mechanical Engineer is responsible for inspections, repairs, replacements, adjustments and maintenance of installed machinery and related equipment. You also will be involved in planned, preventative mechanical maintenance tasks as well as attending to reactive mechanical breakdowns on process and service equipment.<\/p>\n
You should have:<\/p>\n
Experience installing, maintaining and troubleshooting various types of machinery
\nExperience utilizing hand and power tools, including but not limited to grinder, drill press, caliper, micrometer, protractor, gauges, wrenches, chisels, files and scrapers
\nQuarry experience would be beneficial (but not essential)<\/p>\n

Inspect all installed machineries and other machines, related parts and components,
\nMakes line repair adjustments,
\nLays out work, makes set-ups, operates shop floor equipment and machine tools to repair or make required parts,
\nWeld, braze, scrape and cut various types of metals necessary for maintenance repairs and fabrication of new components and equipment
\nDetermines cause of breakdown or required repairs, reconditioning or replacements<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
Experience of fault finding, fans, pumps, motors and similar but not necessary
