Manage the underwriting risk of the portfolio in conjunction with the underwriters, including Line Slip due diligence and new business development specific to Coverholders. <\/p>\n
Develop streamlined approval and review processes for new, cancelled, and renewing binders.
\nAlways ensure that the best interest of our customers is at the forefront of our work and that all conduct aspects of Binding Authorities are brought to the attention of the Product Oversight Group
\nBe a member of the Delegated Authority Working Group.
\nunderwriting matters across all classes.
\nTo provide the syndicate underwriting teams and wider business community with guidance and advice supporting the management and set up of delegated underwriting arrangements for all lines of business.
\nProvide guidance and support for binding authority\/coverholder appointment wording issues, working with the Senior Wordings and Technical Counsel as necessary.
\nManage and co-ordinate onboarding new coverholders, liaising as necessary with other business functions on relevant matters.
\nThrough efficient and effective due diligence ensure that all Coverholders are approved in line with WRBSML and Lloyd\u2019s Minimum Standards.
\nEnsure the Delegated Underwriting team meet established KPI\u2019s and performance is appropriately monitored.
\nCoordination of the monthly committee papers and reports.
\nAssist with the audit process including appointment, scoping, scheduling, and ensuring remediation points are actioned.
\nLiaison with Lloyd\u2019s and regulators to keep informed of regulatory updates and other Delegated Underwriting related activities.
\nResponsible for ensuring all data and administrative tasks are kept up to date through internal and external delegated underwriting systems.
