Expeditors Work From Home Jobs Advisor Full Time<\/p>\n

Job Description<\/p>\n

Support network and customer enquiries in a timely manner by following internal procedures and by using the Project Cargo Pricing Tool.
\nPricing may include all modes of transport, but focus is on all type of ocean freight (Container-, RoRo-, MPP-Carriers).
\nQuoting will also include a variety of pricing such as arranging origin \/ destination trucking and some other BreakBulk common services with approved service providers. (road permits, crating, lifting, surveying etc.).
\nDuring execution to control and steer PES related communication between districts, customer, carriers, and service providers.
\nWork closely with PES oversea teams to cover all aspects of any international project proposal and execution.
\nWork on service provider and carrier relationships.
\nAt a later stage, be involved in customer development activities together with sales and\/or account management.
\nSupport internal PES European team communication requirements and attend internal meetings as required.
\nContinuously explore commercial and operational improvement opportunities.<\/p>\n

This position can be based anywhere in the UK & Ireland<\/p>\n

Qualifications<\/p>\n

Must:\u00a0 Solid forwarding working experience and education.\u00a0 Experience in ocean freight pricing.
\nHelpful: Proficient with \u00a0Project Cargo related experience, especially in quoting over-dimensional loads via land, barge, ocean (and air) modes of transport.\u00a0 Furthermore, knowledge in cargo crating, storage, brokerage, and transport insurance would be of advantage.
\nOf advantage: Knowledge of road permits, import\/export regulations, applications and procedures including surveys and any other governmental regulations applicable for OOG cargo.
\nOf advantage: Established network of contacts with service providers, port operation and carriers in the region.
\nDiplomacy and commercial awareness.
\nGeographic and political understanding.
\nGood computer skills (e.g., MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint)
\nFluent in English<\/p>\n
