Activities:<\/p>\n

Design and implement robust sourcing strategies to support category growth and optimized total costs.<\/p>\n

Driving projects including supplier identification, conducting and analyzing RFx, supplier selection and program execution.<\/p>\n

Prepare for, lead and support key vendor negotiations.<\/p>\n

Proactively analyze spend data to identify new sourcing opportunities or improve current supply chain efficiencies.<\/p>\n

Actively supervise and mitigate supplier risk including financial, capacity, and compliance.<\/p>\n

Continually research to understand the company\u2019s needs, requirements, and trends of the category in order to contribute to supply chain improvements.<\/p>\n

Partner with key stakeholders and the global sourcing teams to reduce the total cost of ownership.<\/p>\n

Teamwork and problem solving with other internal process partners, including Quality, Engineering, Planning, Sales and Marketing to ensure achievement business requirements and objectives.<\/p>\n

Develop, lead, participate, and\/or implement process changes to support business initiatives.<\/p>\n

Lead, build and manage strategic supplier relationships.<\/p>\n

Coordinate and manage requisitions and purchase orders as needed.<\/p>\n

Managing inventory delivery and invoicing issues as needed.<\/p>\n

Preferences\/Requirements<\/p>\n

Bachelor’s degree is required in supply chain, business, or technical field<\/p>\n

MBA is desirable<\/p>\n

3+ years successful experience in sourcing or purchasing environment with focus on global category strategy development and execution<\/p>\n

Outstanding analytical, negotiating, and relationship skills<\/p>\n

Strong verbal and written communication skills.<\/p>\n

Project management experience is preferred<\/p>\n

Digital literacy with Microsoft Office applications and modern ERP systems<\/p>\n

CPM\/CPSM certification is desirable.<\/p>\n
