Essential Duties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n

Work with the MH and LLA BDMs to support their Business Development Initiatives, through:
\nSite Surveys (joint \/ alone)
\nSite Demonstrations
\nDealer and Partner Training Sessions
\nDelivery to, demonstration & promotion at events (safety, buyer, trade shows, customer open days etc.)
\nGeneral site visits to help with the \u2018pull\u2019 strategy \u2013 understanding the market \/ sector \/ and opportunities for new business \u00a0
\nWork with National Accounts Sales Team to
\nSupport events \/ demos \/ training sessions (in same manner as with the BDM\u2019s)
\nDo depot visits and cold-call visits to assist with call plans for large nationals.
\nMake on-spec visits to smaller plant \/ tool rental companies showing them the machine they are towing.
\nLook for opportunities to \u2018Sell the House\u2019 when out and about, promoting:
\nTraining \/ Workshop Works \/ Service Contracts \/ Parts.
\nWork with JLG BDM\u2019s and product management \/ marketing as applicable to help develop sales tools, value propositions and competitor comparisons for key MH & LLA Channel Products (LLA, ES Scissors; Stock Pickers, Toucan Booms).
\nProvide input to the BDM for a weekly \u2018Channel Activity\u2019 report.
\nAssist the BDM as required with updating \/ closing opportunity pipeline in the CRM.<\/p>\n

Requirements<\/p>\n

Familiarity with low level access equipment, heavy machinery \/ industry, material handling equipment – with experience of conducting site surveys.
\nTechnical Sales Support background \/ experience preferred.
\nUnderstanding of (some of) the sectors in which you will be working: Fit out \/ Warehousing \/ general MH \/ Food and Drinks Production.
\nExperience of demonstrating equipment to customers.
\nExperience in loading and off-loading and towing a trailer is preferred \u2013 but training will be offered to the right candidate.
\nDesire to be customer facing and to deliver and exceed on customer expectations.
\nCompetent in the use of Microsoft office packages.
\n(Some) understanding \/ experience of using a CRM.
\nFluent in English. Knowledge of any other European languages is a plus.
\nWilling and able to travel up to 75%.<\/p>\n
