Darden Data Entry Jobs Work From Home<\/p>\n

The Executive Assistant, Legal provides broad administrative support to the Litigation, Employment, Development, and Commercial Law functions of the Darden Legal Department. The position formally reports to the Senior Vice President \u2013 Associate General Counsel.<\/p>\n

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/p>\n

Supports all attorneys, managers, and paralegals on the Litigation, Employment, and Commercial Law teams, and provides additional support to other functions as needed and as capacity allows. The Executive Legal Assistant performs activities including:<\/p>\n

-Opening new matters and maintaining physical files and electronic databases;<\/p>\n

-Uploading information into information systems;<\/p>\n

-Composing correspondence from very brief written or verbal information with minimal supervision and reviewing, editing, and formatting documents;<\/p>\n

-Running reports using information systems (e.g., Oracle, Legal Tracker, IBPM, Ariba) and creating documents including summaries, graphs, and charts;<\/p>\n

-Coordinating interaction between one or more internal and external parties including the scheduling of conference calls and meetings;<\/p>\n

-Receiving and pursuing information; responding to requests from the teams with information obtained by reviewing legal documents and exploring data in files\/databases;<\/p>\n

-Identifying and tracking the progress and status of various transactions and matters; ensuring that deadlines are not missed by members of the team<\/p>\n

-Preparing expense reports, check requests, and responding to expense audits;<\/p>\n

-Making travel arrangements;<\/p>\n

-Receiving and distributing physical mail, electronic communications, and subpoenas;<\/p>\n

-Answering\/returning calls in order to collect information and route calls; recording clear, concise, and accurate messages as needed;<\/p>\n

-Drafting legal documents and completing various legal forms (e.g., letters, memorandums, NDAs, SOWs, Franchise templates);<\/p>\n

-Planning team outings and events;<\/p>\n

-Maintaining integrity and confidentiality of confidential data, materials, communication, and information.<\/p>\n

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:<\/p>\n

-Demonstration of Darden\u2019s Core Values \u2013 get better every day, develop relationships, grow individuals and teams, simplify, and own it<\/p>\n

-Minimum of five years of executive assistant experience in a fast-paced office reporting to a Director level or above and providing support to multiple individuals<\/p>\n

-Minimum of three years as a Legal Secretary\/Assistant\/Paralegal<\/p>\n

-Knowledge and ability to use computers and various programs, equipment, and information systems (e.g., MS Office Suite, Adobe, printers, scanners)<\/p>\n

-Knowledge and understanding of common legal terms and functions<\/p>\n

REQUIRED EDUCATION:<\/p>\n

-High school diploma or equivalent required – Bachelor\u2019s degree preferred<\/p>\n

-Equivalent education, training, or experience will be considered<\/p>\n

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:<\/p>\n

-Ability to complete work accurately and urgently with minimal supervision<\/p>\n

-Ability to multi-task and remain flexible<\/p>\n

-Ability to organize, plan, prioritize, and adapt to changing demands and needs<\/p>\n
