What You’ll Do<\/p>\n

Drive a World-Class Data Platform Team<\/p>\n

Lead a dynamic hybrid team of offshore and onshore employees.
\nProvide thought leadership to build a best-in-class advanced analytics platform, including ML techniques and delta lake approaches.
\nInfluence the analytical roadmap and align strategies with our holistic data strategy.
\nOptimize and manage costs effectively.<\/p>\n

Serve as Technical Thought Leader<\/p>\n

Be the primary technical point of contact for data integrations, engineering, and visualizations.
\nDesign and influence dashboards and key metrics for decision-making.
\nPerform advanced modeling on large datasets and provide key operational insights.
\nDrive project execution using SDLC patterns.
\nEstablish and maintain data governance and security standards.
\nLead the full data engineering pipeline from storage and ingestion to visualization.
\nAssist in complex data engineering and modeling activities.<\/p>\n

What You Bring to the Table<\/p>\n

Education:
\n\u00a0Bachelor\u2019s degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field. A Master\u2019s degree is a plus.
\nExperience:
\n3+ years leading engineering and\/or analyst teams (offshore management experience a plus).
\n4+ years with cloud-based data landscapes (Azure experience a plus).
\nExperience with cloud-based data engineering platforms, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks (Rocky platform similar to Yum Corp is a plus).
\nExpertise in data modeling, SQL optimization, data governance, MPP Data Warehousing (Azure Synapse experience a plus), and data visualization tools (PowerBI experience a plus).
\nExperience with large data store concepts and tools (DataBricks and delta lake experience a plus).
\nDatabricks & Azure Big Data Architecture Certification is a plus<\/p>\n
