Essential Functions:<\/p>\n

Examine claim forms and other records to determine appropriate insurance coverage
\nInterpret account insurance coverage in order to settle claim
\nAnalyze information obtained by investigation and report findings in order to evaluate claims and determine the coverage of loss or damage
\nAssess the extent of the loss or liability
\nEnsure that drafts are issued as claim payments are prepared and liability releases for adjusted claims are obtained
\nSettle claims within prescribed limits of authority<\/p>\n

Responsible for complying with state laws, policies and company procedures
\nOther duties as assigned or required<\/p>\n

Knowledge\/Skills\/Abilities:<\/p>\n

Basic Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer) required
\nTyping of 45 wpm
\nGood attention to detail
\nAbility to multi-task
\nGood verbal and written communication skills
\nGood time management and organizational skills
\nBilingual in Spanish preferred
\nKnowledge of claims adjusting required
\nKnowledge of Collateral Protection Insurance and other products helpful
\nInsurTrak knowledge helpful<\/p>\n
