Essential Functions:<\/p>\n

Identifies, assesses and manages risks to ensure the success of the project.
\nMonitors costs, timescales and resources used, and takes action where these deviate from agreed tolerances.
\nDefines and manages scoping, requirements definition and prioritization activities for initiatives of medium size and complexity.
\nFacilitates input from stakeholders, provides constructive challenge, and enables effective\u00a0 prioritization of requirements.
\nInvestigates, manages, and applies authorized requests for changes to base-lined requirements, in line with change management policy.
\nEnsures new\/updated processes are tested and will deliver planned business benefits.
\nEnsures test plans and outcomes are used to specify user instructions.
\nAccountable for managing the project budget and project CBA.
\nCollates required financial data and reports for analysis and to facilitate decision making on projects.
\nEnsures that own projects are formally closed and, where appropriate, subsequently reviewed, and that lessons learned are recorded.
\nOccasionally required to work late evening and weekends as needed.<\/p>\n

Knowledge\/Skills\/Abilities:<\/p>\n

3+ years\u2019 experience as a project manager, ideally gained in either an insurance or insurance related business or a fast paced retail environment.
\nKnowledge & experience of Agile delivery methodology desirable
\nKnowledge of centralized project portfolio management systems a plus
\nProven stakeholder management and written and oral communication skills
\nProven analytical and problem solving sills, with ability to identify and resolve issues with some guidance
\nAbility to identify dependencies impacting current work assignments
\nProven collaborative skills and excellent facilitation and negotiation skills
\nDisplays attention to detail and ability to produce concise and accurate work
\nStrong desire for continuous improvement<\/p>\n

Education<\/p>\n

High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor\u2019s degree preferred, or apprenticeship and\/or equivalent experience
\nPMP, PgMP or PMI-ACP certification
