Under general supervision, this position is responsible for investigating reports of internal and external theft, fraud, threats and workplace violence. Utilizes technology, analysis, field security research, interviewing and assessment techniques to protect and safeguard personnel, information and assets. Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n

Analyze cargo theft events, GPS data, CCTV video, alarm and access control systems, and interview witnesses and suspects, in response to incidents to identify behaviors, root causes, locations, potential evidence, and person(s) involved
\nCompile and present case summaries and metrics
\nUtilize a structured investigative workflow and case management system to track and close investigations
\nConduct investigations related to threats originating from internal incidents and issues such as theft of customer assets, fraud, and workplace violence or threats of violence
\nConduct interviews of victims, witnesses and persons of interest utilizing established interviewing techniques and skills specific to corporate investigations
\nCollect, document, and preserve video, still images, documents, and other materials connected to an investigation and maintain it as part of the investigation\u2019s workflow and case adjudication process
\nOrganize, prioritize, and investigate multiple incidents<\/p>\n

Minimum Qualifications:<\/p>\n

High School Diploma or GED equivalent; 5 or more years experience working in the Corporate Investigations, Law Enforcement, Security Operations, Incident Management, or related field.<\/p>\n

Preferred Qualifications:<\/p>\n

Bachelor\u2019s degree; experience in conducting in depth and complex corporate, cargo, and\/or vendor investigations
\nAbility to empathize and verbally connect with people during both stressful and non-stressful situations
\nExperience in Corporate Investigations, Law Enforcement, Security Operations, Incident Management
\nExperience with Adobe Acrobat DC, Microsoft Office 365, Video management systems, and a cloud-based case management system
\nExperience with CCTV video review and preservation
\nFacilitating the accurate recollection of conversations, interactions and observations
\nKnowledge of investigation methods
\nProficient analytical skills
\nProficient communication skills (written and verbal)
\nUnderstanding of Chain of Custody<\/p>\n
