Job Responsibilities<\/p>\n

This role in the\u00a0Environmental\u00a0Health\u00a0&\u00a0Safety\u00a0(EHS) group is responsible for executing the industrial hygiene program at Lam Research\u2019s Tualatin campus. Responsibilities extend to participating in development of global industrial hygiene standards for Lam Research. Other EHS related functions include supporting equipment design reviews and implementation for new and changing installations, new chemical reviews, hazard assessments, supporting the emergency response program, and EHS related training.<\/p>\n

\n\u00b7\u00a0 \u00a0Conduct exposure monitoring for noise, light, ionizing and non-ionizing EM radiation, hazardous materials,\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0and material handling.
\n\u00b7\u00a0 \u00a0Compile exposure data and use sound risk ranking methods to produce reports for regulatory agencies and\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0in\u00a0 response to customer requests for information.
\n\u00b7\u00a0 \u00a0Review requests to use new chemicals or changes in chemical use and provide guidance on required PPE,\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0risk reduction, and impacts to regulatory requirements.
\n\u00b7\u00a0 \u00a0Manage conflicting schedules, shifting workloads, and customer needs with a self-driven energy under little\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0supervision.

\n\u00a0 \u00a0Experience with industrial hygiene monitoring equipment, processes and software (e.g. gas detection, noise\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 mapping, RF surveying)\u00b7\u00a0
\n\u00a0 \u00a0 Existing understanding of federal, state, and local regulations including OSHA, EPA\/DEQ, Building\/Fire code\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 and Oregon Health Authority\u00b7\u00a0
\n\u00a0 \u00a0 Existing understanding of industry standards including Semi, NFPA, NIOSH and ACGIH\u00b7\u00a0
