About the role<\/p>\n

The Heavy Equipment Mechanic is part of the maintenance team and surface mechanical workshop. He\/she is responsible for performing periodic maintenance of heavy mobile equipment according to established priorities and complying with the best maintenance practices. <\/p>\n

Essential Duties<\/p>\n

Repair and maintain heavy mobile equipment required to perform surface facilities work
\nEnsure that the worksite is clean and safe at all times
\nParticipate in developing maintenance procedures with the reliability group
\nRespect and apply occupational health and safety work procedures
\nParticipate in surface facility occupational health and safety activities(LWE)
\nReport all incidents\/accidents to the supervisor
\nMaintain information records on equipment maintenance
\nCollaborate and participate in projects\/tests with outside stakeholders with the goal of improving maintenance work procedures
\nAll other job-related duties <\/p>\n

Training & Experience<\/p>\n

College Studies Diploma or Vocational Diploma in heavy Mechanics
\nMinimum 5 years\u2019 relevant experience
\nValid driver\u2019s license <\/p>\n

Skills and Compentencies<\/p>\n

Teamwork in a multicultural environment <\/p>\n

Ability to analyze and solve problems
