GENERAL FUNCTION:
\nTreasury Management Officer will focus on generating new business from prospects and under-penetrated clients in the healthcare vertical. You may also work jointly with a Relationship Manager on well-penetrated clients who present challenges due to size and\/or complexity.<\/p>\n

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
\nDrive the development of new profitable business with a designated portfolio of prospects and clients in the healthcare industry.
\nDevelop strategic sales plans and execute them in coordination with relationship managers, other Treasury Services colleagues, and the Relationship Management coverage team, as appropriate.
\nManage client visitation and contact.
\nUnderstand the clients’ business environments, strategies, and healthcare industry to better determine their requirements, identify potential new business opportunities and provide the appropriate solution(s).
\nUnderstand the competitions’ capabilities and gaps, and how to position Fifth Third against them.
\nPromote sales through frequent client meetings and discussions covering new products, market and industry developments.
\nManage proposal writing and the entire sales process.
\nDevelop and enhance in-depth client knowledge and sharing client risk.
\nWork closely with the appropriate Relationship Managers to drive efforts to expand existing business with current clients, provide feedback to product managers.
\nGenerate cross-sell opportunities by maintaining strong working relationships with other lines of business.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
\nPossess 3 to 5 years of large corporate cash management, sales, healthcare industry, and relationship management experience.
\nStrong working relationships with clients and colleagues.
\nAbility to generate ideas, identify and drive the development of new business.
\nDemonstrate excellent\/strong selling and negotiation skills.
\nDemonstrate excellent\/strong verbal and written communication skills.
\nPossess strong industry\/market expertise.
\nDemonstrate strong time management, organizational and planning skills.
\nPossess strategic thinking skills.
\nAbility to mobilize internal networks and resources.
\nAbility to use various PC and internet-based systems to manage their business portfolio.
\nAbility to obtain Series 7 and 63 licenses. (not required)
