Under direction, performs any work required for the maintenance and test operation of units to maintain continuity of service consistent with safe and economical practices.

\nCoordinates operating activities and maintenance, when necessary, to remove equipment from service for maintenance work.
\nInstalls and repairs all types of mechanical and electrical equipment. Will troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment.
\nPerforms or assists in there recording and computation of all performance tests.
\nReports faulty or malfunctioning equipment to designated supervision.
\nMaintains logs, records, monthly reports, fuel inventories, as necessary.
\nCooperates fully with all organization personnel.
\nWill work overtime in this classification, as required, because of unusual or emergency conditions to maintain continuity of service.
\nWill perform related or less-skilled work as required or directed.
