Our Finance Teams:<\/p>\n

\u00a0Our Finance team has a large part to play in the success of our business. We are based across a few locations, but operate as one team, and work together to create a positive, productive and highly efficient finance department within News UK.<\/p>\n

The Team:\u00a0<\/p>\n

You will be part of the Accounts Payable team. We are responsible for the payment of all invoices for News UK and Wireless paying for all goods and services.\u00a0 This is a very busy role requiring someone who is personable, used to working in a fast paced environment and prides themselves on attention to detail and accuracy at all times. The team are enthusiastic, motivated and a collaborative group of people, sociable with a strong team spirit.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Day to day you will:<\/p>\n

Managing\u00a0 a high volume of supplier telephone calls<\/p>\n

Managing invoice rejections in VIM, liaising with suppliers and the business accordingly<\/p>\n

Checking of any final demands and reminders received from suppliers<\/p>\n

Coding of supplier invoices for certain areas of the business<\/p>\n

Management of key Supplier accounts<\/p>\n

Preparation of the Urgent Lists\u00a0<\/p>\n

Management of various mailboxes – ensuring queries are dealt with on a timely basis<\/p>\n

Validation in OCR of PO and Non PO Invoices ensuring accuracy at all times – as and when required<\/p>\n

Raise internal ZL & ZJ journals and document reversals as and when required and pass for checking and input<\/p>\n

Processing adhoc invoices -Capex, Fast Entry, Foreign and monthly memo\u2019s<\/p>\n

Input of the Miscellaneous Payment requests<\/p>\n

Processing of upload accounts eg, SPS, Amex and Commercial.<\/p>\n

What we are looking for from you:\u00a0<\/p>\n

Good excel skills and the ability to learn new systems\u00a0<\/p>\n

Accurate and a good attention to detail<\/p>\n

Experience of working in a fast paced environment\u00a0<\/p>\n

Multiskilled to provide cover as and when required<\/p>\n

We use SAP, VIM & OCR previous experience of using these systems would be useful\u00a0but not essential<\/p>\n
