PSEG Remote Jobs Customer Support Jobs<\/p>\n

Provide technical support in the Engineering Services department for the Salem Power Uprate Project.\u00a0 The successful candidate will perform the duties as a Lead Responsible Engineer (LRE) for modifications needed to support the power uprate for Salem Units 1 and 2.\u00a0 An LRE is responsible for determining solutions, and then managing resources needed to prepare the applicable design deliverables.<\/p>\n

Job Responsibilities<\/p>\n

Qualify for and fulfill the LRE role for the power uprate plant modifications and be accountable for the design \u201ccradle to grave\u201d.
\nEstablish modification scope, system performance requirements, and all testing requirements.
\nPerform Owners Acceptance Reviews for design analysis, modification packages, procurement, and specifications in accordance with plant procedures.
\nManage technical supplier teams with respect cost, schedule, and quality.
\nSchedule and coordinate Engineering and station department resources to deliver and install required design change packages.
\nInterface with Project Manager to ensure that Engineering deliverables meet the overall project goals.
\nProvide field support during modification walkdowns, installation, testing and as-built verification.
\nComply with regulatory requirements including 50.59, License Amendment Request preparation and any required supporting analysis.
\nPerform other assigned duties as determined by the Electrical Design Engineering Manager.

Required:<\/p>\n

BS Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Controls or related Engineering or related technical degree with 4 years of experience performing related Engineering work in a nuclear power plant or related industry.
\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in controls\/digital design engineering
\nAvailability for shift work during installation.
\nMust meet Nuclear requirements for unescorted plant access.
\nMust possess a valid US driver’s license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.<\/p>\n

Power uprate experience at a pressurized water reactor (PWR).
\nPrior Design Engineering configuration control qualification.
\nProfessional Engineering license (NJ or other state).

\nFamiliarity with distributed digital data collection and control systems (e.g., Emerson Ovation, RSLogix, PI Process.<\/p>\n
