Perform design drafting duties related to plant and\/or pipeline system maps and drawings.<\/p>\n

Essential Functions and Responsibilities<\/p>\n

Interpret complex sketches, redlines, specification outlines, or logic diagrams to prepare designs of systems, structures, equipment, plant components or assemblies
\nResponsible for creating design drawings from general flow diagrams, including the creation of piping isometric drawing for construction-related activities with the use of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software
\nResponsible for design drawings regarding drainage, grade plans, and structural elements from site proposals, surveys and basemaps with the use of CAD software
\nDevelop detailed design drawings from general schematic and equipment drawings with the use of CAD software
\nResponsible for pipeline layout from preliminary alignment sheets and design notes
\nResponsible for the inspection and\/or validation of construction\/fabrication via walkdown or other methods. This includes the creation or validation of Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and other as-built drawings
\nResponsible for maintenance and management of CAD specifications, templates and design models<\/p>\n

Associate’s Degree or technical school certificate along with the following job-related experience preferred<\/p>\n

Work Experience<\/p>\n

Experience in the use and function of design tools and office equipment

Knowledge of: and ability to apply design codes and regulations
\nAbility to: utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software such as: AutoCAD, AutoCAD Map 3D, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and CADWorx software
\nAbility to: apply basic arithmetic, geometry, trigonometry, and decimals\/percentages
\nAbility to: communicate and\/or exchange information and instructions; conduct oral presentations and\/or meetings<\/p>\n
