In the role of\u00a0Unit Manager – Packaging\u00a0working in\u00a0Elkton, VA\u00a0you will be part of the\u00a0Packaging Operations Team\u00a0in brewery operations.\u00a0 You will be responsible for leading and motivating operational teams for the effective operation, quality, asset care and optimization work of a packaging business unit. You will also ensure high quality products are produced cost effectively and safely through maximizing operational efficiency. You will utilize World Class Supply Chain\u00a0 principles and work practices which contribute to world class standards of operation.\u00a0<\/p>\n

You will lead packaging operations towards the vision of a high performance team culture and drive change management initiatives to continually improve both plant and process operations to meet World Class Operations Standards.\u202fYou will contribute to the\u202fpackaging group on site developing short term tactics and contributing to the brewery strategy over a 5 year time horizon.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This position reports to the\u00a0Sr. Manager Operations – Packaging\u00a0and works closely with brewery operational teams.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Lead & manage operations production supervisors to ensure all performance targets related to Value, Quality, People and Service are met in line with the business plan.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Supports asset care of packaging equipment\u00a0<\/p>\n

Drives continuous improvement\u00a0<\/p>\n

Supports brewery safety, sustainability and environmental initiatives\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Other Qualifications:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Possess a proven track record of achievement in a high speed, high volume manufacturing environment\u00a0<\/p>\n

Demonstrable evidence of driving World Class Supply Chain Initiatives to deliver on challenging objectives\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

You are serious about delivering results, and take pride in a proven track record in delivering.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

You are a motivated leader that can inspire others; you respect your commitments and are able to obtain optimal results from your team through respect and development\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

You will possess a BS or BA Degree an advanced degree in Business Management, Project Management or Engineering preferred or equivalent work experience<\/p>\n

You will have a minimum of 6 Years\u2019 experience in manufacturing operations management with demonstrated business improvements.\u00a0<\/p>\n
