Fairmount is a major regional resource for children, adolescents and adults who have psychiatric and behavioral problems as well as alcohol and drug dependency needs. The spacious campus borders Fairmount Park in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia. With one of the leading alcohol and drug detox and rehab programs in Philadelphia, Fairmount is the provider of choice for individuals requiring specialized co-occurring psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment.\u00a0We are currently seeking an\u00a0Assistant Director of Nursing\u00a0to join our team.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)\u00a0has 24 hour a day 7 days a week responsibility for all program activities and treatment services provided on assigned units. He\/She is responsible for ensuring effective and efficient programming, staffing ratios, supervision of patients and staff, budgeting and compliance with hospital and regulatory agency standards. The Assisant Director of Nursing has the added respsoniblity of faciltiy wide leadership and decison making in the absence of the Chief Nursing Offier. He\/She is responsible to ensure that all nursing services adhere to the American Nursing Association of Practice for Psychiatric Mental Health.<\/p>\n

Qualifications<\/p>\n

Graduate of an accredited nursing program. BSN preferred.
\nFour years clinical experience with a psychiatric mental health population required. Previous clinical supervisory role in a psychiatric setting preferred.\u00a0
\nLicensure and registration by the Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners as a registered nurse. Certified by the Certification Board for Infection (CBIC) preferred.<\/p>\n
