Baxter are looking for a Warehouse Operator to join our team within our manufacturing division at our Thetford plant. You will be responsible for loading finished goods on site, processing accordingly, and other general Warehouse duties, working proactively as part of a cross functional team. Once training is complete your salary will increase to \u00a326,253.12 and you will also receive a weekly shift allowance of \u00a364.78.<\/p>\n

Duties & Responsibilities<\/p>\n

To receive and book in raw materials
\nLocate raw materials in both Gate 1 and Gate 2 Warehouse as required
\nProcess and load Baxter goods and Raw Materials for dispatch
\nTo support in day to day running of the Warehouse duties
\nBeing able to work as part of cross functional team and learn various jobs in both the Warehouse and Packing areas to support the business
\nBeing able to work on their own initiative as and when required
\nTo assist routine blind count audits
\nTo perform regular routine cleaning tasks on the fork truck fleet and the work area to ensure they are kept clean at all times
\nComply with EHS\/GMP\/GDP company & corporate policies and external regulatory requirement
\nProvide cover for colleagues
\nTo notify Quality assurance and the Process Leading hands of any deviations from the process
\nPlacing orders where needed for Raw Material and items required for Production
\nReplenish Stock locations when needed.<\/p>\n

Essential experience<\/p>\n

Computer Skills \u2013 Familiar and comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
\nPrevious experience working in a warehouse environment
\nPunctual with good attendance
\nExcellent communication skills
\nWell organized and task driven
\nAble to work in a GMP environment
\nQuality focused \u2013 able to deal with routine, repetitive tasks whilst maintaining good attention to detail
\nTeam Working – working as part of a team & sharing workload fairly with a willingness to work co-operatively and supportively in order to solve problems and achieve team targets
\nMaintains high standards of behavior whilst managing workload
\nProcess Orientated – must follow set standards and ways of working
\nFlexible – able to carry out varied tasks often at short notice, adjust break timings around the production, work additional hours and adjust working hours as required by the business
\nAbility to remain calm in a fast paced environment<\/p>\n

Desired experience<\/p>\n

Forklift experience would be great but we have in house training for this<\/p>\n
