Position Overview:<\/p>\n

Responsible for supervising the sales & use tax compliance function, including property tax, unclaimed property, and licensing. Oversees and participates in the completion of accurate tax returns in order to keep the company compliant with all filing obligations. Supervises the sales & use tax accounting staff and reports to the Sales Tax Manager.<\/p>\n

Primary Responsibilities:
\nReview of monthly sales & use tax returns for states and cities
\nResearch and consult on various sales tax matters
\nDirect and manage sales & use tax audits across multiple jurisdictions
\nOversee maintenance of tax exemptions.<\/p>\n

Qualifications:
\nUndergraduate degree in accounting
\nSupervisory experience
\nThree or more years experience in multi-state sales and use tax
\nExperience filing multistate sales & use tax returns
\nExperience coordinating sales & use tax audits
\nExcellent interpersonal skills, ability to deal effectively with staff, management, outside consultants, and taxing authorities
\nAbility to work well with cross-functional teams within the company
\nStrong problem solving skills
\nAbility to multi-task and possess a strong sense of urgency in meeting government filing deadlines.<\/p>\n
