You Will Be Part of Growing Team<\/p>\n

The role of Accountant is to handle and support accounting & finance activities in Corteva business, being a dynamic part of an accounting and controlling team and ensuring strong control environment under the direct supervision of Company Controller.<\/p>\n

Your Challenge<\/p>\n

Preparation financial statements
\nAccrual and prepayment postings (provisions etc.)
\nPrepare the COGS templates accurately and ensure that all the necessary inputs are captured in the computation
\nPerform INCO reconciliations and make follows ups on payments of balances owed while organising for payment of balances owing
\nMonth and Year end closing activities
\nMonthly general ledger, supplier and customer account reconciliations
\nBe an active part of implementation of internal control procedures
\nEnsure timely completion of Audits by providing necessary information and managing correspondence with the audit team
\nPerform checks between the local books and global system and ensure they are tallying
\nPreparation of VAT, WHT on time\u202fand provision of data for preparation of\u202fCorporate Income Tax<\/p>\n

Qualifications<\/p>\n

To Grow What Matters, You Will Need<\/p>\n

University Degree in Accounting\/Finance\u202for Full ACCA qualification
\nMin 3 years accounting experience, preferably in an international company
\nExperience on tax declarations, especially CIT (corporate income tax and withholding tax)
\nKnowledge on fixed asset and cost accounting
\nPrevious experience in audit or working experience within the big 4 beneficial
\nSAP and Pastel knowledge beneficial
\nGood English level
\nKnowledge of Local GAAP, USGAAP or IFRS experience will be a plus
\nProficiency in Microsoft Office (in particular, advanced Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills) is essential.<\/p>\n
