Requisition Summary<\/p>\n

DIRECTS MANAGERS IN A LARGE MANUFACTURING AREA TO ATTAIN SAFETY, QUALITY, AND PRODUCTION OBJECTIVES ACROSS ALL PRODUCTION SHIFTS.<\/p>\n

Job Functions \/ Responsibilities<\/p>\n

-Identify, prioritize and present improvement opportunities to the Quality Manager and others.
\n-Ensure that quality improvements are successfully implemented and sustained.
\n-Develop and implement procedures to track problem resolution and communicate results.
\n-Coordinate follow-up and integration of action items across all responsible organizations, including Production, \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Engineering, and Materials.
\n-Review PQI issues and participate in root cause analysis and corrective action.
\n-Support retention of ISO-9001 certification.
\n-Ensure plant employees receive the necessary training in quality concepts and basic improvement techniques.
\n-Work with suppliers to confer on specific quality problems and establish inspection practices for vendors to meet company standards.
\n-Effectively support other functions as directed by the Quality Manager.
\n-Strong working knowledge of DOE, SPC, GD&T, and Corrective Actions Processes
\n-Ability to interpret and understand engineering drawings
\n-Performs other duties as assigned<\/p>\n

Qualifications<\/p>\n

\u2022 Bachelors Degree required.
\n\u2022 Working knowledge of continuous improvement tools and methodologies, training and experience in use of Six Sigma tools.
\n\u2022 Prefer Certified Quality Engineer or Certified Quality Manager
\n\u2022 Prefer 3 years experience in a quality role
\n\u2022 Excellent verbal and written communication skills
\n\u2022 Ability to train others on improvement concepts
\n\u2022 Demonstrated leadership skills
\n\u2022 Effective conflict resolution skills
\n\u2022 Ability to drive change and get results<\/p>\n
