ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\u00a0<\/p>\n

Duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to and may be changed, contracted or expanded at any time) the following:\u00a0<\/p>\n

Provide high level of customer service to clients. Must possess excellent communication skills, both via telephone, in written format, and in face-to-face communications. The application of these skills is critical both with the customer, and on an internal level in support of the Sales Account Manager.
\nResearch and respond to customer inquiries regarding status of order, will investigate and resolve production status issues, will address shipping and scheduling issues, will proactively communicate with customer regarding changes in product availability or delivery schedules, and will work closely with purchasing, planning, engineering and metallurgy in the initial contract review phase to ensure timely launch of customer orders. \u00a0Work through OTD and customer scorecards to achieve optimum rating
\nProcesses customer purchase order and reviews quote for accuracy to ensure original quote meets purchase order requirements. Responsible for the timely and accurate entry of order, delivery of contract review to engineering and planning, generation of all appropriate documentation, ability to lead effort to launch product on time (critical job element)\u00a0
\nMust maintain order book including weekly schedule changes with accuracy and timeliness. Ability to interface with customers when order activity doesn’t keep pace with end user forecasts, ability to interface with outside sales representatives to resolve discrepancies, basic understanding of drawings, prints, and customer specifications is required.
\nMust possess exceptional computer skills, especially in Excel, Word, and ability to learn ERP systems. A working acquaintance with MRP, purchasing, and fulfillment software is preferred\u00a0
\nPursues open non-conforming submittals for disposition with customer.
\nMust have understanding and knowledge of company procedures and work instructions. Maintains a safe, organized workstation and follows all company policy, safety and procedures
\nAbility to maintain export licensing with international customers.\u00a0 Understanding of product both import\/export and working with customs brokers.<\/p>\n

LANGUAGE SKILLS:<\/p>\n

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.\u00a0 Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.\u00a0Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.<\/p>\n
