The Project Manager plans, monitors and manages internal project(s), from initiation through completion. Engages internal resources to ensure project delivery is on time and aligned with project requirements and objectives. Applies professional principles, practices, and techniques to lead project processes while controlling cost, performance and risk. Communicate project status as required to external customers and internal leadership.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities<\/p>\n

Lead an integrated project team (IPT) to deliver a scope of work as set out in the business case through the gated Parker Meggitt programme lifecycle process.
\nOperate cross functionally to find mutually beneficial positions between stakeholders and the project deliverables to drive the success of the project.
\nMotivate the project team to contribute towards best project management practices and share the success of good results.
\nEnsure all requirements and associated acceptance criteria are captured, managed and tracked throughout the project.
\nCapture scope change requests and bring forward information to disposition requests with the wider programme team.
\nAchieve milestones and deliverables against the schedule and manage risks that prevent the project falling behind schedule.
\nEstimate cost phasing through the project to support budgeting and forecasting.
\nMonitor the current non-recurring costs against the approved schedule. Identify and correct the reasons for any divergence.
\nLead internal and external review meetings for the programme.
\nCommunicate project status using data driven metrics to the stakeholder community and highlights areas of attention at appropriate intervals.
\nProvide assistance to Customer Service team, an escalation route for both internal and external customers.
\nManage cost estimates, working with internal cross-functional teams, provide accurate cost estimates to support bid proposals and quotations.<\/p>\n

Strong background in project management methodology.
\nBackground in Aerospace preferred.
\nBackground in Manufacturing and Engineering essential.
\nAble to adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities.
\nCan work independently and interface with cross-functional disciplines; using excellent interpersonal skills to drive tasks to completion.
\nSelf-motivated with problem solving and decision making skills.
\nExcellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to develop clear and detailed plans.<\/p>\n
