HR Manager will provide a full range of HR services to the organisation; actively promoting a culture where the people resource is continuously developed and empowered in all areas to achieve a world class business performance.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities<\/p>\n

Ensure department is responsive to resolving employee issues & concerns. Work continuously to improve the level of customer service provided to internal\/external customers.
\nDevelop recruitment strategies for salaried & hourly employees.
\nAssist in addressing needs, designing, developing, implementing and evaluating divisional training initiatives.
\nEnsure training is directly related to business goals.
\nOversee Health & Safety programs, including risk management & wellness.
\nAct as a strategic Business Partner between Operations & the HR function.
\nIncrease effectiveness of divisional communication programs.
\nDevelop & monitor the department budget & business plan.
\nAdminister all HR policies for the division.
\nEnsure adhere to corporate EEO\/AAP policies.
\nOversee the role of HR department in employee participations programs.
\nConduct performance evaluations, hiring, training, coaching, period meetings and other associated managerial activities.
\nResponsible for acquisitions \u2013 HR integration.<\/p>\n

Qualifications<\/p>\n

Minimum 8 plus years of experience in a similar position in Manufacturing environment, background in aerospace is highly desired.
\nRelevant HR qualifications or university degree is required.
\nExperience in delivering projects within a trade unionised environment, including (but not restricted to) restructure programmes, change agendas, post TUPE \/ acquisition activities.
\nAppropriate case management at all disciplinary stages, up to and including ET\u2019s and all associated legal activities.
\nExperience of developing partnerships with senior stakeholders and HR team across various locations.
\nExtensive experience of managing complex employee relations issues and casework and managing conflict.
\nExcellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills while exercising sensitivity to the audience.
\nAble to work with and maintain high levels of confidentiality, resilience, and calmness under pressure.
\nHigh level of professionalism, diplomacy, sense of urgency and demonstrated ability to work under pressure and multitask effectively.
\nSelf-starter and ability to manage own workload.
\nStrong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and web-browsers.<\/p>\n
