Support Platform Operations in administering Windows server infrastructure both on-prem and cloud (Azure or AWS) environment.
\nAnalyze, log, track and resolve software\/hardware issues pertaining to server operating system and related services.
\nManage Windows Server ticket queue, resolve issues and provide 1st and 2nd level support of all Windows server platforms and associated applications.
\nProactive server tuning and performance monitoring using corporate tools like SCOM, Splunk and OBM.
\nIdentify and repair inconsistent Windows server configurations including drift config on Citrix and VMware systems.<\/p>\n

Standardization and automation of systems, tasks and workflows using PowerShell.
\nParticipate in Infrastructure project design\/implementations and Disaster Recovery exercises.
\nProduce reports for daily checks, real-time monitoring, and capacity management to support infrastructure management needs.
\nOperate within an Agile framework, providing regular updates on project progress.
\nDocument all processes and ensure their consistent application across the global Windows server landscape.
\nProvide weekend support on a rotational basis.
\nTimely response to escalated support requests.
\nRegularly update windows servers with the latest security patches and ensure all security measures are compliant and in line with company standard.<\/p>\n

Experience<\/p>\n

Minimum 5+ years in comparative industry experience.
\nAdvanced experience administering Windows Server (2016, 2019 and 2022), with proficiency in Active Directory, SharePoint, and MS Exchange
\nExpertise in VMware (ESXi, vCenter, vSphere, vSAN, TKGI) with a solid understanding of virtual administration and key virtualization concepts including resource allocation, high availability, load balancing, storage, and networking.
\nExperience with Citrix technologies (VDI, XenApp, XenDesktop, NetScaler), knowledge in Citrix Provisioning Services, Machine Creation Services and Citrix Cloud.<\/p>\n

Familiarity with Active Directory, Azure AD, and Office 365 administration, including user and group management, security and compliance, and identity and access management.
\nProficiency in DNS, DFS, DHCP, IIS, NT File System, Group Policy, Remote Desktop Services, Print Services, and have strong knowledge of TCP\/IP, SSL\/TLS protocols, and load balancing concepts.
\nExperience with Azure DevOps, including CI\/CD pipeline configuration, automation, and management of cloud infrastructure and services.
\nStrong scripting skills in PowerShell or Python for task automation, including Windows administration, and experience in agile project management.
\nKnowledge of cloud concepts and platforms, especially Azure and AWS.
\nStrong knowledge of security principles including patch deployment and troubleshooting.
\nExperience in managing HP and DELL server hardware including rack-mounted and blade servers.
\nKnowledge in BigFix, SCCM, SCOM, FACSys, Canon SecurePrint (UniFlow), and CyberArk.<\/p>\n
