The Services Procurement Specialist Indirect Procurement Buyer plays an integral role by developing and implementing proven sourcing strategies while partnering with collaborators, anticipates risk, identify key areas of opportunity to drive growth and efficiencies by selecting core suppliers and validating they provide efficient cost, quality and other measurable results.<\/p>\n

What you will do:<\/p>\n

Responsible for sourcing and negotiating a portfolio of goods and services, to meet the requirements of the Hub business collaborators, Marketing Services and Business Services Spend Categories while optimizing cost and processes. The individual will also undertake proactive spend analysis and research to identify potential future tactical buying and strategic sourcing opportunities.<\/p>\n

This includes the following:<\/p>\n

Performing buying activities (RFP, Analysis, etc.)
\nActively communicating with the business partners to ensure that their purchase requirements are met
\nUsing Ariba eSourcing application to complete bidding events (RFP, RFI, RFQ, or reverse auction)
\nMaintaining an awareness of changing market conditions
\nPerforming periodic spend analysis to find opportunities for local and Division projects
\nLeading spend assigned spend categories and supporting global projects
\nConducting periodic key collaborator meetings with business partners to review local spend category strategy and activities
\nLeverage supply base opportunities across managed portfolio
\nManaging, resolving and communicating on local quality and service issues.<\/p>\n

Who you are:<\/p>\n

Bachelor of Arts or Science in Sourcing, Business, Finance, or comparable discipline is required.
\nProficient English is a must have
\nUnderstanding of procurement, spend category management and project management methodologies, e-procurement processes and negotiation
\nHigh degree of problem solving skills and the ability to drive change with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
\nSAP experience is desired.
\nInfluential communicator and have global business perspective
\nHighly organized planner<\/p>\n
