GENERAL SUMMARY:<\/p>\n

Customer Service Representative is responsible for the private fleet administrative functions.\u00a0 Responsibility includes planning, tracking, tracing, and reporting on inbound and outbound dedicated loads.\u00a0 Works with the private fleet on-site team to ensure on time store deliveries, tractor utilization, inbound reverse logistics on time pick up, and driver safety and legal compliance operations.<\/p>\n

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/p>\n

Plan and assign outbound, vendor backhaul, and OVD loads
\nPlan and assign rolltainer sweeps and dunnage consolidations
\nReporting Function:
\nReport on time load pick up
\nReport on time store delivery
\nReport BOL pick up
\nReport on tractor utilization
\nReport on vendor backhaul pickup and delivery
\nAnswer and process driver load messages through satellite communications and plan<\/p>\n

Resolve load issues involving bust outs, over weights, and\/or paperwork issues
\nAnswer telephone calls from drivers, vendors, DCs, SSC and other external sources
\nWork with drivers to ensure they understand the delivery documentation, call stores\u00a0 when \u00a0the \u00a0delivery is late, monitor load dispatch assignments, and review load optimizing.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS:<\/p>\n

Proficient communication (written and verbal), listening, and interpersonal problem \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0solving skills

\nHigh attention to detail, strong planning, and organization skills
\nUnderstands driver logs and hours of service
\nProficient in usage of transportation optimization software to perform routing, tendering, scheduling, and shipment tracking
\nAbility to function in a high-stress environment
\nMust know MS Office software<\/p>\n

EXPERIENCE and\/or EDUCATION:<\/p>\n

Distribution experience preferred.
\nQuality check or audit experience preferred.
\nWarehouse management system applications experience preferred.<\/p>\n
