The Maintenance Technician contributes to Starbucks\u2019 success by providing technical support to operations team partners to ensure that all plant machinery is performing at the optimum level and is able to be operated in a safe manner. Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles by championing a continuous improvement culture and continually seeking to improve reliability of equipment, processes and standards to eliminate waste, increase safety, quality and value.<\/p>\n

Some of the key responsibilities are:<\/p>\n

Preperation and execution of planned maintenance work orders, safely, in full and on time;
\nAnalysis of deviations in machine- and\/or (machine related) product specifications using break down analysis methods;
\nResponding to calls from shift supervisor and advice on repairs and prioritizing the urgency with plant supervisor;
\nCarrying out preventive maintenance, including inspections, on all plant machinery as preventive maintenance schedule;
\nReport findings for appropriate follow-up;
\nInitiating and supporting continuous improvement to all processes to promote and maintain safety, quality and production output;
\nTraining, coaching and instructing team partners in routine preventive maintenance\/autonomous maintenance.<\/p>\n

In this role you report directly to the manager Maintenance.\u00a0<\/p>\n

What do we ask of you?<\/p>\n

Dutch Middelbaar Beroeps Onderrwijs (MBO) level 4 in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering combined with relevant experience in Mechanical Engineering;
\n>3 years of experience in a technical service department, performing maintenance on production equipment, within a (food) manufacturing environment;
\nKnowledge of work order and spare parts management with a computerized maintenance management system;
\nVCA certificate;
\nSufficient skills and knowledge to be nominated as an electrical skilled person according NEN3140;
\nKnowledge of mechanical drive technology, pneumatics, hydraulics, process control, PLC;
\nExperience with analytical techniques for problem solving.<\/p>\n

You will work in a \u2018relaxed 3 shift system\u2019, which means that you only work the night shifts once every 6 weeks (instead of twice a week).<\/p>\n
