1. Assume a leadership role in the oversight of the company\u2019s capital management activities including balance sheet positions and changes, key risk modeling assumptions, control assessments and governance.\u00a0 \u00a0Oversight activities and findings provide independent assessments of the sufficiency of risk management practices and the levels of risk.<\/p>\n

2. Primary ownership for the development, maintenance, and enhancement of select risk monitoring programs utilized to identify and assess Capital risks within Truist and across peer institutions.\u00a0 Analyze and utilize the information from monitoring activities to escalate issues within the Capital Oversight team and Corporate Treasury to drive timely, proactive risk identification and analysis.<\/p>\n

3. Assume a senior leadership role in the oversight and coordination of policy development, limit calibration and compliance, and the development, calibration and maintenance of a comprehensive Capital related \u00a0\u00a0Risk Appetite Framework. Play a critical role in the preparation, documentation and presentation of periodic quantitative and qualitative assessments of risk management practices.<\/p>\n

4. As a capital oversight teammate, develop comprehensive committee content (for both Capital Committee and its subcommittees) that fulfills Truist\u2019s objective of effective management oversight. Prepare and present independent analysis to the relevant Committees in support of Capital Oversight\u2019s goals.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n

5. Engage with senior Corporate Treasury personnel and subject matter experts in order to influence analytical methodologies that inform decision-making and risk positioning. \u00a0Participate with other members of senior Capital Oversight leadership in interactions with regulators. Cultivate relationships with peer organizations, through participation in industry associations, to ensure that Truist adopts and maintains industry leading risk management practices.<\/p>\n

6. Play a leading role in developing, drafting and presenting the comprehensive annual Capital Oversight \u00a0report which documents Capital Oversight\u2019s ongoing review and assessment of Truist\u2019s capital management risk management practices and risk position.<\/p>\n

7. Remain informed on macroeconomic, geopolitical, industry, and regulatory matters that could impact the company\u2019s risks and strategies.\u00a0 Such knowledge is essential to understanding and assessing Truist\u2019s interest rate and liquidity risk management practices.<\/p>\n

8. Support Capital Oversight and the RMO as needed through strategic leadership of processes and initiatives including ongoing reporting, ad hoc risk assessments, industry engagement, examination\/audit preparation and coordination and participation in corporate programs such as risk and control assessments.<\/p>\n
