The role is sales and engineering focused and target driven. You will be responsible for securing new business and maintaining an excellent level of customer service to current customers.\u00a0 The individual will be required to plan strategies and develop all key relationships to ensure a strong foundation for solution selling. Maintaining and promoting relationships with customer contacts who will be determining design opportunities and dealing with existing business challenges.<\/p>\n

What will you be doing at Arrow GC?\u00a0<\/p>\n

You will be responsible for taking ownership of assigned accounts
\nDeveloping relationships and being able to negotiate at all levels within the customer
\nBeing visible on sight \u2013 frequent customer visits
\nDeveloping the business on assigned accounts to:
\nMaximize Arrows share
\nMaximize overall profitability
\nMaximise Arrow\u00a0design in profile and technical\u00a0sales
\nManaging all resources to grow the business with Field Application Engineers, Field Marketing, Asset, Business Process Excellence (BPE), customers & suppliers
\nProviding Customer satisfaction
\nCommercial:
\nKeep an up-to-date account profile\u00a0
\nThrough fact-based analysis and in-depth customer knowledge work out account strategies and plans based on greatest opportunities for growth
\nPro-actively promote Arrow\u2019s top suppliers
\nPrioritise time on the largest growth opportunities within the account base
\nCommunicate proactively and use all available resources to maximize the return and to ensure smooth operations in regard to speed, accuracy and cost effectiveness
\nHave a clear understanding of competition activity in the account base
\nDemand creation:
\nDrive agreed supplier initiatives and maximised Arrow design in content and technical services
\nHave a clear record of what development projects each customer has and what stage they are at
\nCo-ordinate both manufacturer support and Arrow FAE support appropriately to maximise new design opportunity for Arrow
\nIncrease level of engagement in the account base\u00a0through Arrow technical services
\nSupply chain:
\nHave a clear understanding of Arrow\u2019s supply chain solutions
\nManage an appropriate level of stock through buffer, forecast, backlog that is line with customers turnover and Arrow\u2019s stock turn expectation and at the same time ensure supply continuity for the customer
\nHave a clear understanding of customer priorities – stock turns, stock availability and be able to recommend supply chain solutions that will support customer objectives<\/p>\n
