This is an app modernization program under the client wherein developers need to work at onsite client office in Glasgow.<\/p>\n

You will own\/be accountable for:<\/p>\n

Writing secure and high-quality code using Java with minimal supervision
\nDesign, develop, code, and troubleshoot while considering both upstream and downstream systems and associated technical implications.
\nAnalyzing requirements, work with scrum master on understanding of the JIRA stories
\nWork with Release Management Team on Prod Implementation
\nProvide post Production support.
\nParticipate in JIRA Backlog grooming activity.
\nLearn and applies system processes, methodologies, and skills for the development of secure, stable code and systems.
\nMake decisions in establishing standard and company-wide engineering and technology practices, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies. Lead and influence the technology team to achieve deliverables and drive new initiatives.
\nFosters an inclusive team culture, promoting diversity, equity, and mutual respect.<\/p>\n

Cognizant Work From Home Jobs Advisor Full Time<\/p>\n

We are looking for candidates with the following:<\/p>\n

Recent hands-on professional experience as a back-end software engineer in an agile, dynamic and customer facing environment
\nRecent experience with using a JVM language (Java\/Scala\/Kotlin, preferably Java 11+)
\nProficiency in data structures and algorithms, including understanding of their time and space complexities.
\nKnowledge of SOLID principles and Gang of Four (GOF) design patterns
\nUnderstanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture
\nFamiliarity with Domain-Driven Design principles and practices
\nUnderstanding of the Twelve-Factor App methodology
\nUnderstanding of RESTful APIs and web technologies
\nProficiency in dependency injection frameworks (Spring \/ Spring Boot)
\nUnderstanding of relational databases
\nExperience with unit testing using Mockito, Integration and End-to-end testing and other testing methodology.
\nExperience in all the stages of software development lifecycle (requirements, design, architecture, development, testing, deployment, release, and support)
\nDesired \u2013 understanding of cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
\nDesired \u2013 understanding of security frameworks \/ standards
\nDesired \u2013 understanding of data streaming and messaging frameworks (Kafka, Spark, etc.)
\nDesired \u2013 understanding of distributed tracing and monitoring (Zipkin, OpenTracing, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Micrometer metrics, etc.)
\nDesired \u2013 understanding of containers (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, etc.)
\nDesired \u2013 experience in automating deployment, releases and testing in continuous integration, continuous delivery pipelines.<\/p>\n
