We are looking for a lead systems analyst join an award winning team with a proven track record of combining data science technique with an intimate knowledge of payments data to aid Financial Institutions in their fight against money laundering and fraud. Headquartered in The City of London, we craft bespoke services that help our clients gain an understanding of the underlying criminal behaviour that drives financial crime, empowering them to take action.<\/p>\n

As part of the application development team, your role will focus on defining and translating requirements from partner teams for the software engineering team. This will involve iterating existing products and designing and developing new ones.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Meet with business leaders and business analysts to discuss and elicit under-the-surface needs and translate them into specific system requirements and subsequent project objectives.
\n\u2022 Identify solutions for less complex, more common issues.
\n\u2022 Independently create prototype designs for components of applications or projects and writes basic documentation, such as test plans and scripts.
\n\u2022 Define project requirements and assists with estimating efforts to fulfil requirements.
\n\u2022 Coach junior resources in development of prototype designs for less complex projects.
\n\u2022 Coordinate impact to vendor and company workflow for new products.
\n\u2022 Responsible for test scenarios creation, some testing and test results review.
\n\u2022 Assist with analysis of support ticket issues.
\n\u2022 Explore the team\u2019s ability to accomplish a project.
\n\u2022 Serve as an intermediary between the software engineering team and product team.
\n\u2022 Analyse requirements to determine the system needs to fulfil those requirements.
\n\u2022 Translate requirements into realistic goals and well defined epics\/features\/stories.
\n\u2022 Assist in planning and writing user acceptance tests.
\n\u2022 Create epics, features, and stories from user stories in collaboration with engineering managers, software engineers and business analysts.
\n\u2022 Complete JIRA artefact content, ensuring consistency.
\n\u2022 Add acceptance scenarios to stories in collaboration with QAs\/QEs.
\n\u2022 Assist with writing user guides and other forms of customer facing documentation.
\n\u2022 Refine project requirements in flight.
\n\u2022 Groom engineering backlog, prioritise stories to ensure efficient project delivery.
\n\u2022 Work with Quality Assurance team to prioritise test cases and measure coverage.
\n\u2022 The role is hybrid, based in central London, and the expectation is that you attend the office according to Mastercard policy, including team days on Monday and Thursday.<\/p>\n

All About You<\/p>\n

You are an experience analyst, used to working with a disparate group of stakeholders with different points of view. You are adept at translating high level requirements into features and stories, and have worked with software engineers and quality assurance teams to refine acceptance criteria and estimates.<\/p>\n

\u2022 You are comfortable communicating with a range of stakeholders, including subject matter experts, data scientists, software engineers and enterprise devops and security professionals.
\n\u2022 Experience with agile methodologies.
\n\u2022 Familiar with confluence and JIRA.
\n\u2022 Knowledge of backend software developer, API driven systems and low latency products.
\n\u2022 Experience in new program\/product launch across multiple markets\/countries.
\n\u2022 Focussed on technology solutions to business problems.
\n\u2022 Prior experience of translating user stories into features and stories in collaboration with engineering managers, software engineers and systems analysts.
\n\u2022 Have run demonstrations of products and engineering outputs to range of stakeholders.
\n\u2022 You may have domain knowledge in payments, fraud, anti-money laundering and machine learning.<\/p>\n
