The Role at a Glance<\/p>\n

We are excited to bring on a\u00a0Retirement Consultant\u00a0within Retirement Plan Services to join the West region in the\u00a0Baton Rouge area. In this role, you will deliver retirement planning, education, and world class service to complex retirement plan sponsors and participants. This includes growing plan participation, increasing average deferral rates, asset gathering, and servicing of employees. You will play a vital role in the growth, retention, and overall satisfaction of clients that you are tasked with servicing. Our goal is enabling our clients to achieve the retirement they envision.<\/p>\n

What you’ll be doing<\/p>\n

Conduct in-person and\/or virtual meetings with Plan Sponsor\/Participants to achieve assigned goals and metrics
\nMeet or exceed established goals by increasing retirement plan participation, deferral rates, and average account balance leading to better participant outcomes and increased revenue & market share with assigned Plan Sponsor\/Participant book of business
\nDevelop a comprehensive understanding of existing\/targeted Plan Sponsor\/Participants including targeted market segments, how they operate, and\/or value proposition
\nSupport Relationship Management with retention efforts and look for opportunities to promote other Lincoln services and cross partner with appropriate internal stakeholders.
\nYou will support regional RC Directors by taking on additional responsibilities to support regional objectives and RPS goals.<\/p>\n

What we\u2019re looking for<\/p>\n

Must-haves:<\/p>\n

1 – 3+ Years\u2019 experience in Retirement Plans that aligns with the specific responsibilities\u00a0
\nLives in Baton Rouge area with ability to travel up to 50% regionally
\n4 Year\/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor’s)\u00a0
\nFINRA SIE, S6, and S63 within 90 days of hire (pre-registration preferred)
\nLife & Health within 90 days of hire (pre-licensed preferred)<\/p>\n

Nice-to-haves: \u00a0<\/p>\n

1 – 3+ Years\u2019 experience in Group Benefits
\n1+ College of Financial Planning or comparable certification(s) or designations
\nPrior system experience with: Excel, Salesforce, and Teams
\nBilingual Spanish\/English<\/p>\n
