What you’ll be doing<\/p>\n

\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Identifying accounting issues\/concerns and recommending mitigation solution(s) to management.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Ensuring the integrity of complex accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles, and complying with internal controls and SOX.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Developing complex processes to ensure internal controls and SOX compliance and providing ongoing assessment of effectiveness.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Obtaining input from appropriate management before making external statements or providing information that could impact the corporation.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Conducting quality assurance checks on their journal entries and post to General Ledger Accounts.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Carrying out duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines. \u00a0Complying with all company and site policies and procedures.

Must-haves:
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a02 – 3 Years of experience in accounting that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position\u00a0
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a04 Year\/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor’s)\u00a0
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Apply concepts such as probability, statistics, modeling, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 solutions.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Works with mathematical concepts such as averages and\/or variances.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Evaluate trends in data or information.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Ability to analyze information and evaluate the implications of a course of action or solution.
